Biography
Dr Marcus Tan attended The University of Melbourne and graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1997. He completed his training as a Nephrologist in 2008, and was duly admitted as a Fellow of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians. During his training, he has worked at The Alfred Hospital, Austin & Repatria-tion Medical Centre and The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Dr Tan's areas of medical practice include General Nephrology and Dialysis, General Medi-cine and Perioperative Medicine.
Private practice is located at The Epworth Centre, Richmond. Dr Tan has admission rights to the Epworth Hospital, Richmond, and Freemason’s Hospital, East Melbourne. Dr Tan al-so provides inpatient consultations at the St Vincent's Hospital, Fitzroy and East Mel-bourne.
Dr Tan continues to be actively involved with medical education through the Epworth Healthcare, the RACP and the medical schools at the University of Melbourne and Monash University.
